BRAMA has Grown Up
In it's embryonic stages, BRAMA (in the form
of Infomeister-Ukrainian) began as a gopher site in early 1994. Later in
February 1995 it began presenting much of its contents in web form. BRAMA
- Gateway Ukraine, the website, was finally born in May 1997, and it has
grown in exponential leaps since it's debut.
Content growth has included the addition
of new sections, new functionality, along with continuous updating of already
available information. Viewership growth has progressed steadily at a rate
of approximately 8-10% over each previous month. This can be attributed
to three major factors: 1) the high substantive quality of BRAMA's offerings,
2) increasing interest in Ukraine and Ukrainians, and 3) the growth of the Internet,
the Web in particular.
